The intended customer flow uses one Windows installer. Free workflows can start locally. Paid capabilities require a verified license; downloading the installer or returning from checkout does not grant rights by itself.
Downloading the installer needs a free account. Paid plans go on sale with the first public Windows release, once the installer and the complete clean-machine activation flow pass their release checks; launch prices are on the plans page.
02Use the system browser
In the app’s Settings, choose the sign-in / activation action. The app opens an authorization request in the system browser. Sign in with the account that owns the purchase and approve the request. If a device code is shown, check that it matches your request.
Return to the app, select the appropriate license when required, and confirm activation of this computer. The backend verifies signed rights and stores the activation credential in protected operating-system storage. Manual license-key entry remains a fallback.
03Refresh, renew and release are different
Check access now refreshes signed rights; it does not charge you or renew a subscription. Billing changes belong in the signed-in account / billing flow. A subscription renewal date is different from the app’s signed verification valid-until time.
Sign-out does not release a licensed device. Use Release this computer when transferring an activation. If the computer is lost or no longer starts, release it from your account page instead: open the licence's Computers list and match the computer ID shown in the app's License & access settings. The account page allows three such releases per licence in 30 days. Local work can continue within the signed validity window, planned at about two weeks between online checks; the application is not promising an indefinitely offline paid license.
