AXIAL FLUX STUDIO / LEGAL
Website, account and purchase terms
These terms cover axialfluxstudio.com, your Axial Flux Studio account and buying a plan. Use of the desktop software itself is covered by the licence terms. Axial Flux Studio is operated by Cole Standley, an individual based in California ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

Your account
- You need an account to buy or activate a paid plan. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Licences belong to the account that bought them and cannot be moved to another account except by our support, after we verify both sides.
- You may delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Its licences end when it is deleted.
Buying a plan
- Paddle is our reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment.
- Prices are shown on the plans page and at checkout, in US dollars. Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where it applies.
- A plan is a subscription that renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- A payment made from a Paddle customer that already belongs to another account is not attached automatically. It is held for support to resolve, by moving it after verification or by refunding it.
- Refunds follow the refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website or account service: no attempts to access other accounts, probe or overload the service, get around licence limits, or use automated means to create accounts or purchases.
Content on the website
Documentation, benchmarks and examples on the website are provided for information. Benchmarks describe specific reference machines and settings; they are not a guarantee of accuracy for your design. The licence terms' engineering-results clause (§8) applies to them too.
Business succession
If the Axial Flux Studio business later moves to a company or another successor legal entity, the business-succession clause in section 15 of the licence terms also applies to these website and account terms. Any transfer remains subject to the notice, assumption of obligations, customer protections and required consents or approvals described there. Paddle's separate buyer terms continue to govern your purchase from Paddle.
Availability
We aim to keep the website and account service running but do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted. The desktop app keeps working offline within its licence period if they are not.
Liability, law and changes
The warranty, liability, governing-law and change clauses of the licence terms (§§11, 12 and 15) apply to these terms as well.
